This only a sample of a screencast that teaches the students the roots of Arabic words. I haven't tried the screencast before, but I drew that chart with more explanation on the board in class and they enjoyed it, and now they can get the root of any word, & also from the root they can form words. This can be an assignment for them to do, I give them the root then they have to form the words or vice-versa.

I recommend ScreenToaster, another web-based screencast tool with more clear video quality and allows you to download the video. Personally I use DemoCreator at work because I need to edit my screencast and publish as different video format. It has a Office ribbon which can be popular and familiar to teachers.
