Another Web2.0 tool..
I wanted to share my experience of using Edmodo.com. Edmodo looks like Facebook but very very simple and is used to link the teacher with the students.
As a teacher you log on then create a group for your class, so it will provide you with a code which you should give to your students in order to log on to be in that group.
What I did is that I posted the assignment on the wall of the group & the due date, so all the students in that group can see. Then, they turned in the assignment through Edmodo too, as they can upload any files (word, mp3, wav, excel ...etc.).
When they turn in the assignment, Edmodo notifies me with the number of the people who turned in & I can view them. The good thing too is that there's a Grade button, you can grade the students after viewing their assignment.
Moreover, they can comment on your post & you can reply.. Exactly as you can do on Facebook.
